About SJHA Dungeons & Dragons Club

Calling all brave souls, cunning strategists, and imaginative minds! Are you ready to delve into a realm of magic, monsters, and mysteries? Join us for our Dungeons & Dragons Meet-ups and unlock a world of endless possibilities!

Our seasoned Dungeon Masters (DMs) are skilled storytellers and guides, ready to weave captivating narratives and provide a dynamic and immersive experience for all players. They’ll lead you through the story, describe the settings, and breathe life into the NPCs (non-player characters) you encounter.

New to Dungeons & Dragons? No worries! Our campains are open to all skill levels, and we’re excited to introduce newcomers to the magic of tabletop roleplaying games.

Don your armor, grasp your spell book, and ready your dice—your next heroic journey awaits!

You must be able to commit to coming consistently for the full duration of the campaign. While the planned dates for each campaign are below, each campaign can run for weeks to months depending on play. Our DnD Campaigns are run as free clubs for all local homeschoolers. Start thinking about your characters now!

Important information:

  • We typically have campaigns that run for various age groups. Each campaign's story line will vary depending on the age group.
  • Registration is limited for each campaign and is first come first served. Groups that are too large make it difficult to play DND as the game play ends up being very slow.
  • It is a commitment! By registering, you are commiting to the series of meet-ups advertised.
  • We have a band group for our DND Club, which you can find here.
  • If you know absolutely nothing about DND, here is a great video to introduce you to the magic of this improv story-telling game!

Awakening of the Emerald Garden

Once a living jewel of the realm, the Emerald Gardens of Queen Elinizia were said to hold every color that nature ever dreamed. To walk the gardens was considered both a privilege and a blessing. After the death of her beloved King Heyimar, the Queen retreated to her garden, abandoning her position as queen. As the seasons passed, the magic of the garden turned inward and wild, becoming closed off with thorns, briars, and nettles. The queen died alone in her garden and centuries later her lost soul remains rooted to the garden’s heart. The grounds fester with regret. Your party has been tasked with freeing the garden of the lingering curse, but be wary! Every step awakens the wrath of the banshee queen, who draws ever closer and will rise in full fury to claim her garden.

Now Recruiting Adventurers!

Heroes of the Eastern Realm

Every town needs heroes. Fortunately, the Village of Ithica has you. As the local adventurers, you've earned a reputation for handling the dangers, mysteries, and odd jobs that others can't. If there’s a giant spider that needs handling, your party of adventurers are the giant boot of justice!

But life as an adventurer is never quiet for long. Rumors drift in from distant roads, mysterious requests appear on the tavern notice board, ancient places wait to be explored, and new faces bring stories, and sometimes trouble, with them. There’s never a shortage of adventure…

Gather your party, sharpen your skills, and prepare for whatever may come. The Village of Ithica is counting on its heroes!

Build your hero, or use an old one, to level 3 using 5E rules. If you need help building a character, please reach out to the Dungeon Master before the start to the campaign, however, there will be time during our first session for character creation/tweaking.

Spots are limited — please register if you’d like to claim a seat at the table (there is a party limit of 6 players).

No experience needed. Imagination required.
