Amanda Arnold 

Cheif Brand Officer & President

Amanda Arnold has been homeschooling since 2016. She is a wife and mother of three children. Amanda runs multiple small businesses but the majority of her experience is in graphic design, teaching, and non-profit work. When searching for local homeschool enrichment opportunities, she found that many appealed to younger kids, so she co-founded this network in efforts to help bridge that gap. Amanda also wanted a safe environment that welcomed all families, no matter what their personal religious beliefs are. In her free time she enjoys playing Nintendo switch and drawing.

Nicole Crittenden

Vice-President

Nicole started homeschooling in 2022 as her oldest was going to enter preschool. With a background in infant through elementary childcare, she knew staying home and working closely with her two children was something she needed to do. She is a stay at home mom who loves watching her children, and their friends thrive in their growth. Since immersing her family into the homeschool world, they have gained so many great friends and connections. Building a community for her family and being there for other families is her happiness. While not schooling, Nicole loves spending time with her husband and kids, mom's nights, adding embroidery to anything she can find, and falling too deeply into fictional tv worlds.

Kristi McArdle 

Chief Financial Officer & Treasurer

Kristi McArdle has been homeschooling since 2015. She is a wife and mother of three; who shares her homestead with chickens, goats and a livestock guardian dog. She has been working as a doula for 12 years. Kristi loves the many opportunities that homeschooling provides and loves to build community. She is passionate about kindness and really tries to show that by listening to and loving those around her the best she can. In her free time you can find her planning her next trip to Disney, camping, baking or knee deep in some crafty endeavor.

Jennifer Hecker

Secretary

Jenn Hecker has been homeschooling for 18 years. She has two BA degrees in Psychology and Education. She has here NJ teaching certificate for K-8 and worked in the public-school setting for 5 years before she had her children. At home she enjoys spending time with her 2 boys (20/15), her husband and a menagerie of pets, including a dog, 2 cats, 3 rabbits, and a bearded dragon. But her favorite pets are her chickens! She also runs a business with her husband from home that allows for the flexibility to homeschool.  She enjoys teaching students of all ages and developing curriculum. Her passions include history, crocheting, music, and reading. Over the years, she has taught a variety of subjects in several co-ops, ranging from Little Chefs and improv to themed history classes. Currently, she serves as part of the admin team and works as the co-op manager for SJHA. Her goal is to collaborate with teachers and parents to create an exciting and engaging learning environment for all our children. She wants to grow the community into a support system for homeschooling families in the area.
