About Us

South Jersey Homeschool Association, a registered 501(c)3, exists to fill a vital need in the Homeschool Community. We were started as an inclusive “one stop shop” for homeschooling, providing support to families choosing to home educate their children.  We provide co-op for students to choose from to engage in classes with their peers. We also provide vital social opportunities such as a thriving bowling league, student run clubs, field trips, social events, and more. We provide many opportunities to further enrich students lives and encourage them in whatever endeavors they want to explore such as first aid training, book fairs, career fairs, craft shows, as well as promoting and encouraging student entrepreneurs.

We’ve found in doing this how the homeschool community has sharp divisions in equitable access to these endeavors based on the socioeconomic status of the families. To date we have provided over $20,000 in scholarships to make sure that everyone in the community has access to this enrichment. We also seek to make sure that the students have access to technology. We are fostering diversity and accessibility for non-traditional learners that has never existed in this community before.
